How Corruption and Greed Led to the Downfall of Rock Music

Yea, the Telecommunications Act of 1996 signed into law by President Bill Clinton, was a disaster of a bill in more ways then one, that DEFINITELY had a negative effect on more then just the (traditional) music industry. We are still seeing the evolving of its implications (and influence) to this day, especially within much of American Journalism, politics, the Main Stream Media, and how we get our news...

"This corruption has gotten into and ruined everything. Music, journalism, politics, education, science, medicine ... well ... everything." -YouTube Viewer

"Completely agree with you. Telecommunications Act of 1996 was and is a big mess for musicians, and the general public at large. I remember a stat something like within a year after that took effect, there were 6000 less owners of radio stations on the west coast alone. We end up getting news given to us from 3 companies these days and we live with it. We as the public own the airwaves yet we allow these companies to get rich by selling off everything that we own." -YouTube Viewer

Christopher Cross: His Influences, Songs and Incredible Guitar Knowledge!

Freakin' AWESOME interview...

I think Christopher Cross was so brilliant at using the soft, gentle sounds of some of his music (like Jiu-Jitsu) to evoke feelings and emotions, as well as, almost classical, impressionistic pastoral images with sound, feeling, and words...

Case in point, and so powerful. And, I really dig the guitar solo in this track. I think it's absolutely brilliant, and almost reminiscent of Duane Allman's sound and guitar playing, in my opinion. Like Allman, he seems to almost make the guitar cry with an emotion that grabs at the heart...

Beautiful track...

A video about one of the greatest jazz guitarists who ever lived: 'Joe Pass'...

For whatever its worth, here's my comment on YouTube regarding the video. So surprised was I, that I saw this in my home feed, that I just couldn't help myself...

Yea, I knew about Joe Pass a long time ago, myself. Learned about him in music school, and saw him live once in Manhattan. (The guitar instructor at the school actually knew him personally). In fact, I believe I still have the 'Virtuoso' album. Pass is a FREAKIN' MONSTER!!! Thanks for making this video. Long overdue. Finally someone who gets it, about what a genius this guy was. I was one of the few back in the day, who really understood and appreciated that, or  who even knew about him. Joe Pass is a legend. Not sure if he's still alive or not, but he was like the Mozart of Jazz guitar players, for sure. Pat Martino was another little known jazz guitarist, who was just absolutely brilliant as well, now that we're on this subject. May want to do a video on him too, and really blow my mind...

2025 🐍 PSYCHIC ATTACKS

Wow. Yea, VERY interesting. Because, for starters, I have noticed myself that there DEFINITELY seems to be something going on, in more ways ...
